The African artifacts and design elements were stunning and thoughtfully curated, creating a grounded, soulful atmosphere that made it easy to slow down and truly reconnect.
It was quiet, intimate, and beautifully set up with everything they could possibly need—no distractions, no stress, just comfort and ease. The ambiance struck that rare balance of being both calming and subtly romantic, making it the perfect retreat after the busy holiday season.
If you’re looking for a space that feels sacred, cozy, and designed for rest, connection, and quality time, this is it. An absolute gem and a place we’d recommend without hesitation.

We Loved our night at the Safari. It was so peaceful. It was just what we needed. Next time we come we definitely have to get the Safari for at least two nights, we didn't want to leave. The bed was so comfortable also, I could have stayed in that bed the whole time. We will be back.

Such a super cool spot. The outdoor shower in the rain was phenomenal. I was a bit worried about the size of the tub (both indoor and out) but we never ran out of hot water. Just a really cool, InstaG ready stay that was actually comfy and fun!

It was all so breathtaking! The tent and scenery are even more beautiful in person than in the photos if that is possible. Private, romantic, and one-of-a-kind. My husband and I were not ready to leave. Book it now!

This place is fantastic and so is the host! We felt so lucky to have found this hidden gem. The property is tucked away and feels very secluded, but it’s still just a short drive to restaurants and shopping. However, we loved the peaceful setting of the home so much that we spent most of our time relaxing in the comfort of the home or out on the deck enjoying the sounds of nature. We look forward to retuning here again.

Pregnant wife needed a weekend getaway from the city and this place was perfect, for the beautiful sounds of nature, to hanging out inside the beautiful inside area that was COLD with the ac what more could you ask for its nice and silent and everything you need to escape the city for a while 10/10

When I was looking for a place for our wedding anniversary, I came across Melinda's place and found it unique. After reading the reviews, we decided that this is the place for us. And we were not disappointed. The place is beautiful and peaceful. It is a perfect place to unwind. And we were close to nature. Host was very responsive and gave clear step by step instructions from check in to check out. Only regret we have is not reserving the place for at least two nights to truly enjoy the amenities and nature.

We had the perfect few days out relaxing! Even with the cold weather we stayed warm with the fireplace and blankets. The spot had everything we needed and then some! Got to cook outside on the little grill for some added ambiance. The fun bath tubs and outdoor shower was a plus! Already planning our next venture out!

Everything about this place was a perfect for our 5 year anniversary getaway! It was definitely sultry and so comfortable. There wasn’t anything about it that we would change! Just far enough out to be peaceful and undisturbed but close enough to Emory for good food! We are already ready for another trip.

Second time there this year, experience was awesome once agan. We love the place and recommend to all couples wanting a retreat in mature. If the outside shower was converted to a hot tub or a fire pit added, I would without a doubt be a monthly visitor. As it is now, you'd be hardpressed to find anywhere else offering an experience like this.

My girlfriend and I had such a great time there. It was so comfortable, from the bed to the fake fireplace. The shower and bath were so cozy, the whole place was very warm and inviting. I’m happy we got the chance to stay here and will likely be coming back!

I chose this space to propose to my fiancée and it was even more special than I hoped for. They proactively offered a “romance package” with rose petals & sparkling wine and helped coordinate the surprise with my photographer. The bungalow was a true 1 of 1 experience and I highly recommend it to anybody looking to capture their own special moment.

10/10 would HIGHLY recommend for any couple needing to slip away a few nights! The secluded space, huge outdoor tub and shower was so fun and the indoor tub was more than we expected! The bed linens were luxurious and so romantic and comfortable! Such a sultry get away just as the title implies! We do intend on visiting again!

Extraordinary, exquisite, eccentric and one of a kind. I travel all over TX, AR and OK and always look for unique experiences and this topped the list. The concept, layout, vision, accommodations were so well thought out it blew my mind. One of the coolest experiences for me on the road all the time. Hands down better than any high end hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My only regret…I had to leave. Thank you for the unforgettable moment!

Had such a great weekend stay. The place was exactly as it was described. I was a little skeptical on booking the place because I was worried the glamping tent would be a little warm during the hot summer, but it really surprised me how cold it stayed inside. the AC units had no problem cooling with 95° weather outside, so don’t let that discourage you from booking here. Such a peaceful and beautiful experience. Lots of wildlife, even had a deer come up pretty close. The host were very friendly and responded quickly every time. We couldn’t be happier with our stay 🙏.

My wife and I stayed in this safari tent in the woods of Point, Texas, and it was seriously awesome. The place is super unique — every detail is on-theme and thought out, from the decor to the lighting. It felt like a luxury getaway in the middle of nature.
Everything was super clean, the bed was crazy comfortable, and the fireplace and soaking tub were perfect touches. The directions were clear and using everything was a breeze. You can tell a lot of care went into setting this place up.
We loved it and will 100% be back. If you’re looking for a relaxing, cool, and different kind of stay — this is it!

We celebrated our 14th anniversary at Melinda's Sultry Safari Glamping Cabin, and it was lovely! We wanted to get out of the city and back to nature, but also to be comfortable, and it was exactly that. The air conditioner worked well, the indoor and outdoor baths were relaxing, and the kitchen had exactly what we needed. The furnishings were beautiful and reminded us of when we lived in Tanzania. Melinda was very responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our romantic getaway.

My wife & I needed a quick get-a-way to decompress. This was absolutely that. The place was just as described, no noise, beautiful. Tent was awesome- had a BIG storm blow through but didn't bother the tent- actually made it enjoyable.
This is a "Relax & Unwind" accommodation! Loved it.
