What We Mean By Adults-Only

One of the questions we get asked most often is:

"Why don't you allow children or pets?"

The answer is simple.

We love them.

We have an (adult) child of our own, adore our many nieces and nephews, and we're the kind of people who stop to pet every dog we meet.

But we also recognized a need.

A place where adults can slow down.

A place where couples can reconnect.

A place where solo travelers can rest.

A place where a cup of coffee stays hot and conversations don't get interrupted.

While we can't control the birds, the squirrels, the deer, the owls, or the occasional sounds of country life, we can create an environment of peace that every guest helps preserve.

We love animals, but keeping our accommodations pet-free helps us provide a comfortable experience for guests with allergies and sensitivities while maintaining the peaceful atmosphere our guests value so much.
